Welcome to GP Design & Print!

By accessing our website, placing an order or using our printing and design services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, subject to your rights under Australian law.

Please take a moment to read them before placing an order.

1. General Information

GP Design & Print is a small, independently operated business based in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in custom printing, graphic design, personalised gifts, apparel and promotional products.

We reserve the right to update our products, pricing, services and these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Any changes to these terms will apply to orders placed after the updated terms take effect, unless otherwise agreed.

2. Orders & Payments

  • All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Full payment is generally required before an order is processed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Orders will not enter production until payment has been received and any required artwork approvals have been completed.
  • Custom quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry.
  • Additional changes or requests may result in additional charges, which will be discussed before proceeding.

GP Design & Print reserves the right to decline orders where reasonably necessary, including where artwork is unsuitable, materials are unavailable or an order cannot be fulfilled.

If an order has already been accepted, any cancellation will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

3. Custom & Personalised Products

Many of our products are made specifically to order and personalised to suit individual customer requirements.

Please ensure all information supplied is correct before submitting your order, including:

  • Names, spelling and dates
  • Sizes, colours and quantities
  • Artwork and design details
  • Personalisation requests
  • Contact information

We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once production has commenced.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the details they submit and notifying us of any errors as soon as possible.

4. Artwork & Design Approval

Where artwork approval is required, a digital proof may be provided before printing or production.

It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully check all details, including spelling, colours, placement, sizing and overall design.

Once artwork has been approved, production may commence.

Any changes requested after approval may incur additional costs or require a new production timeframe.

GP Design & Print is not responsible for errors that were clearly visible in an approved proof and reproduced accurately in the finished product, except where applicable consumer guarantees provide otherwise.

5. Customer-Supplied Artwork

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any artwork, photographs, logos or designs they provide are suitable for reproduction and that they have permission to use them.

By submitting artwork, you confirm that you own the necessary rights or have obtained appropriate permission for its use.

GP Design & Print reserves the right to refuse artwork that we reasonably believe infringes intellectual property rights or contains unlawful or offensive material.

If artwork requires editing, resizing, cleaning up, recreating or converting to a print-ready format, additional design fees may apply.

These fees will be discussed before work begins.

6. Graphic Design Services

Graphic design services may include logo recreation, artwork preparation, custom designs and other creative work.

  • Design fees will be quoted based on the work required.
  • The number of revisions included will be outlined where applicable.
  • Additional revisions or significant changes to the original brief may incur additional charges.
  • Design work may require payment before commencement.
  • Final artwork files will be supplied in the formats agreed upon.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment for design services does not automatically include ownership of editable source files, working files or unrestricted rights to all design elements.

Any transfer of intellectual property rights or licence to use custom artwork will be confirmed separately.

7. Colours, Sizing & Product Variations

We do our best to accurately represent product colours, designs and finishes on our website.

However, please be aware that:

  • Colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device.
  • Printed colours may vary slightly from digital artwork.
  • Garment sizing may vary between brands and styles.
  • Minor differences in print positioning or finish may occur due to the production process.
  • Product availability and specifications may vary between suppliers.

We recommend checking available size guides before ordering.

All products must still meet applicable consumer guarantees, including being of acceptable quality and matching their description.

8. Production & Turnaround Times

As a one-woman-operated business, all orders are managed with care, and production times may vary depending on workload, product availability and order requirements.

Any turnaround times provided are estimates unless a specific deadline has been expressly agreed upon.

Production times generally begin once full payment, required information and artwork approval have been received.

Delays may occur due to supplier availability, equipment issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If you require an order by a particular date, please contact us before placing your order to confirm whether your timeframe can be accommodated.

We will communicate any significant changes to agreed production timeframes as soon as reasonably possible.

9. Customer-Supplied Garments & Products

Where we agree to print on garments or products supplied by a customer, we will take reasonable care during the printing process.

However, not all materials are suitable for every printing method, and results may vary depending on fabric composition, coatings, age and condition.

We may decline to print on items we believe are unsuitable.

Any specific risks will be discussed where reasonably identifiable before proceeding.

We remain responsible for exercising due care and skill in providing our services, as required by Australian Consumer Law.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original designs, website content, graphics and other creative materials produced by GP Design & Print remain our intellectual property or that of their respective owners.

Customers must not reproduce, resell or distribute our original designs outside the permissions or licence provided.

Customer-owned logos, artwork and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Photography & Promotional Use

We may photograph completed products to showcase our printing and design work on our website or social media.

We will take reasonable care not to disclose private customer information.

Where products contain personal photographs, private details or other sensitive content, we will seek appropriate permission before using them for promotional purposes.

If you would prefer that your order not be photographed or shared, please let us know.

12. Website Information

We aim to keep all website information, product descriptions and pricing accurate and up to date.

Occasionally, errors or omissions may occur.

Where an error affects an order, we will contact you to discuss the available options and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We may update or remove products from our website without prior notice.

13. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for information about how customer details are collected, stored and used.
